Author Phillippe Legrain defends the libertarian view of immigration. Free markets rely on free movement of capital, goods and labor, yet so many “free marketeers” pretend movement of labor is not part of a functioning market. Martin Wolf, editor of the Financial Times, says that Legrain “makes a good case for the unpopular cause of free flows of people. The book is a superb combination of direct reportage with detailed analysis of evidence.”
